BONNIE LINE
Because this line is now colony bred, with several females and changing males, there is not a simple lineage chart or timeline, but rather, notable litters with notable babies will be posted here instead. This line will be entirely closed, with no outcrossing in order to keep the genetics contained and without introducing other unwanted genetics.
Notes
8/5/20 - The second litter in the new colony is exactly what I have been working towards, and it is a whole [small] litter worth! They appear to be agouti based, which is not as desired as seal point, but it is at least something to work with. These babies are heavily ticked, which is likely from the agouti, though since the seal point siamese also have some ticking, there may be an additional gene in play. These babies seem to get darker every day, they have also developed light whisker beds and lighter color around the eyes similar to marten. They have dark ruby eyes as well. Their coat is very light underneath, giving them an almost pearly appearance which highlights the ticking. UPDATE 10/29 - Have grown into pretty normal looking Siamese with slightly deeper, broader points and slightly creamier body tone. Hoping for improvement as they age as seems to be common.
*REPLACED COLONY MALES WITH 2 OF THE DARK SIAMESE FROM THIS LITTER
10/25/20 - New litter, first since replacing original males with new dark siamese from the previous litter. Several began appearing dark at just 4 days old. By 1 week, they are much darker! Almost 2 weeks they are much darker and may also be seal point rather than agouti like the last batch, but time will tell.
12/6/20 - Litter of 8 born. 1 lost, 2 culled. 4-5 look very dark by day 4.
